20" x 27"
Irregularly Shaped Piece
Acrylic on Fabric
There is always a physical distance, or point-of-view, from which we look at a painting. When I visit the Louvre, I go straight to the Raphaels. These paintings are large, but I don't pay much attention to the work as a whole. I like to go right up close -- a couple of feet from the painting. Really beautiful!
"Jean-Pierre I" is not a large painting but I like to get very close and let my eyes wander over its topography.
